Our name Ichor Essence was inspired by nature - the word Petrichor, a distinctive scent in the air after rainfall on dry earth. To be more precise, it is the scent arises from a combination of volatile plant oils along with certain compounds like ozone, Geosmin that released from the ground into the air after rain. Similar to the derivation of essential oil, Petrichor the pleasant and unique aroma is created by nature with water falling on dry soil, with no other smell like it.

About Florihana
Founded in 1993, the Florihana Distillery is located at the Caussols plateau, a protected natural site in the South of France with extraordinarily rich biodiversity where flowers and wild plants thrive. The Florihana organic farm covers 25 acres in the center of over 2500 acres of wild lavender, thyme and savory. The distillery offers a wide range of botanically defined, 100% natural and certified organic Essential Oils, Hydrosols, Carrier Oils and Cosmetics since its creation.
Florihana has offered since its beginning organic products that meet the specific standards recognized by the international community, committed to strict quality control as well as having purity tests (GC/MS reports) performed for every batch of essential oil.
